Signal over noise.
The Daily Seven is a personal, iPhone-first news briefing that narrows a noisy morning into seven worthwhile stories, then keeps focused sections available for politics, technology, economics, British rugby, and Toronto teams.
What it does
An automated pipeline collects candidate stories from freely readable publisher feeds, checks freshness and source diversity, selects a balanced top seven, and preserves a resilient snapshot so the page still has meaningful content if JavaScript or a refresh job fails. Stories retain their publisher attribution and link back to the original source. The interface is designed for calm morning scanning rather than an endless feed.
When it is useful
Use The Daily Seven as an example of a small personal briefing system, a public-feed/private-reader architecture, or an iPhone-first editorial interface. It is not a general newswire and should not be represented as original reporting. Headlines, summaries, and images belong to their attributed publishers; Herby Projects provides selection, organization, and the reading interface.
